Gilmore's Edward Herrmann to Guest on Grey's!
Whoa! In perhaps the biggest post-Gilmore casting news so far, we hear that Edward Herrmann's heading to Grey's Anatomy for a three-episode arc! Zap2it.com reports that he's playing a doctor, but that's about all the details that have been released so far.
We adore Edward Herrmann -- he was incredibly candid and friendly when we interviewed him last spring, and we'd hoped he'd find something awesome post-Gilmore. We wonder what kind of doctor he'll be. Will he shake things up for McDreamy or the Chief? Oh, and will he get involved in any of the famously steamy Grey's love triangles? Guess we'll have to wait and see...

I'd love to watch Edward on something but not Grey's. It's on at the same time as Supernatural and SPN needs all the help in the ratings SO IT ALWAYS GET MY VIEWERSHIP.
(Maybe he could be a hunter - like Bobby - on SPN - he was the bad guy in 'The Lost Boys', so the supernatural could be right up his alley - and he could act with Jared and give Jared a run for the tallest man on set again ;))
