I love Lucas. Naley si adoreable but Lucas really gets my attention. As for the girls, I can honestly say that in season one BOTH of them annoyed me. I just wanted Lucas to go back to being his sweet self and find a nice innocent girl. However, by mid season two, I became a Brucaser. That is not to say I didn't enjoy Leyton either. Maybe they should just form this triangle relationship where everyone loves each other?=p

I've been waiting for Episode 9 since you guys started this. You guys are too funny. That was the episode that I fell in love with OTH. I was just so hooked by the end of it. I remember I taped it for some reason, and then that night I stayed up and watched it again.

I think it will be really great if you guys all pick sides and then defend them- on the Lucas front I mean. But I must say that I agree with Sarah, I am completely an "anyone but Lucas" person, too.

Let me just say that these episodes is where my eyes began to open up and see the amazing possibility of Brooke and Lucas. This was a pairing that, at first, I thought would be just a little fling because of Lucas' "longing" for Peyton and Brooke's party attitude. But we got to see a different side of Brooke Davis. We see what a great friend she is to Peyton. And Lucas sees that as well.

And what about that kiss at the bar? How H-O-T was that?? Growl...

Nathan and Haley..my second favorite pairing on the show. I love the date that Brooke set up for them. Getting to know one another, truly. Of course, Nathan is gonna do some "Nathan" things (i.e. denying he's on a date with Haley), but he redeems himself. These episodes, we see that Nathan truly is falling for Haley and that he needs her. And she needs him..something she thought wouldn't happen.

The Deb from Season 1 is totally different from the Deb we know now. I miss Season 1 Deb. She started going a little loopy, especially in Season 4.

The next episodes are gonna be great. Definately the rollercoaster that the writers have been providing the fans since Season 1.

I think u guys should do three podcast a week so u be able to watch all the season before season 6 comes on

This two podcast were hilarious!

"Read my quint!" That's the face Lucas has all the time, we can't always read your squint Luke!

Brucas was great in my opinion in Season 1 except for the whole triangle and Lucas being a dumba**, I liked the make out in the bar too! I think Brooke brings out Lucas while side while Peyton just cause him to squint some more and be more broody. Broody and Broody bores the hell out of me, no offense Leytoners.

I love the whole thing about the staring contest, it would've been hilarious if Mouth really did broadcast it. I don't really remember how the staring ended, I don't they showed it but it was hilarious to watch cause it looked like they were going to be there forever.

Naley were great when they were acting like their actual age, I like them in season five but they need to let their hair down a little and have more fun and remember how hot they used to be.

Mia and Sarah, you two were hilarious as always! Thanks for the tattoo advice...lol! I will never get a Chinese tattoo just for you Sarah. Also, Sarah there's a lot of tattoo places who gives you a tattoo underage cause they don't ask for IDs, not that I'm complaining most of my friends got their tattoos underage but if I ever got tattoo I will never hear the end of it.

It was good to hear Jackie's voice...lol! She's like the voice of reason and she really does defend the characters I never realize that. She remind me of Haley for some reason. Hope she having fun in Italy eating pasta!

Can't wait for next podcast! Great Job!

Lucas' 2nd book - "there are many who couldn't understand, and sometimes, he walked among them."

Haley, Peyton, and everyone else in these episodes and pretty much every episode said Leyton made sense, Brucas didn't. Even when Haley asked Lucas "are you and Brooke a thing now," he replied "NO! We just have fun together" or something to that effect. Of course, later on, he claims that she's "the one" and that they are "meant to be" and that he was "in love with you, NOT Peyton" and that he "loves Peyton, but is in love with Brooke." So SOMETIMES, he DID walk among them. But for the most part, when they were together, he said that Brucas was meant to be "to the world" as Brooke says referring to him declaring that "one of these days, you're going to realize it. I'm the guy for you Brooke Davis... you'll see" at the end of the summer beach party before senior year, in front of "the world" to see.

love you ....please try to see all seasons and tell us if you are brucas or leyton fans...

So this is my third time listening to your podcast and I enjoy it even when I'm rolling my eyes at your Brucas comments. Anyway's I can tell that the up coming eppys with your podcast are only going to get better.I'm not saying that just because of build up for my couple Brucas either. I'm saying it because as a fan of the show since the start S1 S2 & S3 are the best seasons. There was alot more going on all around and the friendships and the tangled webbs are what made those seasons now ther just not the same. Dont get me wrong I love this Show Love it but I brought these seasons DVD's for a reason. ; ) enjoy guy's

Wow the two podcast were seriously funny, you guys are so hilarious. Ok so I love these episodes, obviously because of Brucas and Naley lol. For me I never felt leyton as a couple. I believe I was 18 when these episodes were shown and I couldn’t believe how complicated one non-couple could be at the age of 16. Omg especially peyton, now I’m not sure who said it but I agree that peyton lost her shot. I mean she had her chance with lucas, and her wanting him after he had moved on was just too bad you snooze you lose. I was so happy when brooke decided to go after him because you know what he was fair game, and she actually knew what she wanted and went for it. What made me like brucas was that brooke made lucas actually have fun for once, I was so sick and tired of seeing him brood. I Thought Naley was so adorable in these episodes and yeah nathan kind of messed up a couple of times but like you said he was good at covering it. Well I can’t wait to hear your next podcast; hopefully you will all be brucasers by then.

1x08: This episode was awesome. I loved the Naley scenes. I also loved the Brucas cenes. Brucas is just awesome. And yay Brooke really redeemed herself. I just can't imagine One Tree Hill without Naley.

1x09: yay Brucas. And yes Peyton too little too late. I love you guys making fun of Lucas. I cracked up laughing. I htink Lucas wants to have his cake and eat it too. I love it when you guys go off topic like you did with the Brucas/Leyton just standing there that whole conversation you guys had was probably the funniest thing you guys have done yet. I hope you do more of that. can't wait to hear the next one

On a different note, what is with all the anti-Peyton in the podcasts? I understand that many fans like to see Lucas "have fun" with Brooke. I really did like them together, but in all honesty I think at that point in the show Lucas was rebounding from Peyton and Brooke was easy. This not to say that they will not make a good couple down the road. I don't get why in previous podcasts you guys agreed that Lucas came on too strong with Peyton and that they are only 16, then in both of these podcasts you all thought that Peyton had too little, too late. You guys are all over the place with this triangle. Thank you Sarah and Mia for not vowing to be Brucasers just yet, give Leyton a chance. I really think all three of you will go back and forth throughout the series, or at least I hope so. I know that I will become less interested if you choose one over the other. I want to hear your opinions on both couples, without bias.

I LOVED what you had to say about Deb and Dan. The writers probably changed Deb's personality because after being married and living with Dan for all those years you are bound to go a little psychotic.

Sarah and Mia, it must be really cool for you to be in the position you are in, having the current status of the characters and matching it up to who they used to be. I think that would be exciting and maybe more fun to watch that way.

All three of you are wonderful for continuing to podcast throughout the summer, it gives me my OTH fix☺☺☺

LMAO! The next episode actually DOES begin with that same "let's stare at each other forever" scene! That's so funny! Both these podcast were hilarious!

I love these episodes for 2 reasons: Naley & Brucas!

Let me start by saying that I used to be a Leyton fan. I thought it was cute that the boy from the wrong side of the tracks wanted the girl he could never have.

But Lucas FELL for Brooke (right now, it may just seem like fun and games, but in season 2, they are beautiful). It wasn't some random WE'VE NEVER SPOKEN, BUT I LOVE YOU thing. And Brooke FELL for Lucas! She didn't just start wanting him when he wasn't chasing her.

I was still OK with Leyton at this time. But later on in season 1, I gave them up. I'm sure you've heard about the cheating and deception. The thing is, I feel like they only wanted to be together because it felt "wrong and forbidden" because Brooke was in the picture! Lucas even brings it up!

So ya, right now, Brucas is just hot and fun. But when they really fall for each other, you will appreciate (even if you don't agree with) what BLers say when they say that BL is meant to be.

Jackie, you have no idea how much I love you (not in a creepy way) for saying you're a BL fan (AT LEAST RIGHT NOW). I don't know if anyone else said anything, but that's cool too. You don't have to pick BL, or even pick at all. It just made me happy to hear someone say that RIGHT NOW, they are a BLer.

And of course, NALEY! I thought it was awful when Nathan denied being on a date, but he fixed it later! And the hair tuck... so cute! And then the "I'll kiss you later" scene! LOVE!

And then he had to ruin it in the next episode by trying to take her clothes off! But again, he fixed it all up.

I think that's part of Naley's fun! Watching them mess up, but always finding their way back to each other!

Ya, I miss season 1 Deb too! But I guess that would have made her character boring over 5 years, especially because there's not Dan for her to show up, so she would have had nothing to do! "I will stab you in your sleep" was a very shocking moment for me! I remember watching it live on TV and thinking "OMG! Did she just threaten to stab her husband? OMG!"

Ugh, I am so anxious to hear your seasons 2 and 3 podcasts! I want to hear them all, but mostly seasons 2 and 3! HURRY UP! lol :)

You have 15 weeks from today until the season 5 premier! You have 78 episodes left! That means if you do 5.2 episodes a week, you'll be done in time for the season 6 premier! lol. Just kidding. I know that's a lot to watch and podcast...

I find it funny how Leytoners try to blame the triangle on Brooke. 'Peyton was scared' they say. Excuse me, she was seventeen, not seven. She mentioned not wanting Lucas a few thousand times, while Brooke expressed great interest in him every time. But she somehow thought time would wait for her to mope, stare into her webcam and race threw the streets aimlessly before getting back to Lucas. So Brooke got him. I have a feeling you will be Brucas fans in the end. They are the more down to Earth couple, the younger couple. They're more about entertaining us, not staring into each others eyes hoping we'll get the message sooner or later. I doubt the Leyton soppiness will agree with any of you. Nor the way the writers try way to hard, yet fail everytime, to make them this epic couple loved by the fans.

The podcast was funny. But I have to say, Peyton is not all about the chase. She was afraid in S1 and when Lucas told her that he wanted everything w/ her it threw her off, Peyton wasn't used to someone wanting her like that, because of her previous Relationship with Nathan. Lucas just shows her everything she can be and more, and that scares her. In the later Episode you'll know why both Lucas and Peyton are the same, and how they both run from what they want. That's why when S1 ended and we got back to S2 it makes no freaking sense how the SL changed, just because CS were dating, and everyone knows. CS played a big part in S2 changing, because of the way S1 ended, whoever says otherwise are just playing themselves. (This is coming from a guy that started watching the show in S4 and had to re-watch from S1 to see what all these LPers vs BLers are talking about. watching S1-3 made me see why LPers are pissed off about S2 and I get what the mean, the sl did a complete 180 and it made no sense what so ever).

Also the way Episode 109 ends does start up for 110. In Episode 111-115 we'll see the whole LP thing, and how all this Triangle plays out.

LMAO Those two podcasts were hilarious, especially the 2nd one!!! Um hate to tell you but the episode 10 does open up with that scene! LOL But I totally get you, it was the like most awkward thing, like Peyton just leave already! haha Ok so I'm kinda with Jackie, when the show first started I was a Leytoner, kinda because I loved Lucas and I just wanted him to have what he wanted (ie: Peyton). But when Peyton pushed him away and he got with Brooke, I became a Brucaser just because they were so fun together. Then later on in the season I just became a Brooker, and you will see why that is. It wasn't until s2 that I became the hard core Brucaser that I still am today.
Naley, yeah I don't know how anyone could not love Naley. They are THE couple of the show, and we all know that no matter what they will always be together. I LOVED the first date, and then the first kiss. I HATED Brooke in episode 7 but like you all said she def. redeemed herself in 8. I thought her and Lucas were adorable together, like in the truck. LOVE how you brought up that Peyton wants Lucas when she can't have him, um you will see that occur over and over and over again through out the whole series, well you already saw it with season 5.
I can't wait to hear your podcasts on the rest of the season, especially on what happens with the whole triangle thing and your take on it all. I really hope you girls are able to get through at least seasons 2 and 3, because they are great. I can't wait hear all of you as your evolve into either Brucasers or Leytoners, but I have a feeling that one or two of you will be Naleyers and not give a shit about Lucas' love life.

ROTFL you guys are hilarious. Seriously we never agree on anything but dammit you guys are hilarious. That last scene unfortunately does begin with the next episode so lol my LP heart was shattered when i first watched it hehe. I'm with you guys on how Peyton acts but I cant help but love her more for being complicated. Not everyone can be a Haley. I don't hate NH but they were never my big ship. I think I resent them though because I can't seem to ship ships that are like stable as them lol But I do love Haley Nathan not so much. Brooke for me in S1 I was ehh I'm just not a fan of characters like her. I like my characters complicated because I think theirs more to work with lol Any ways you guys are awesome and this was another wonder off da walls podcast can't wait for more lol
