One Tree Hill Podcast: "A Hand to Take Hold of the Scene"
Awww, what an episode! One Tree Hill charmed us this week on so many levels. We loved the Brooke/Julian interaction, Lucas and Peyton practicing parenthood, Naley getting a night out (even if Nathan seemed to be spending more time with Chase) -- heck, even Sam didn't bug us that much last night!
Julian schedules a business meeting with Brooke, but is it a date? Sam sure thinks so. And why not? Everyone else seems to be having fun this episode. When Chase asks Mia out -- and Mia freaks out about it -- Haley brings Nathan along for a double-date. But who will look after Jamie and Andre? That would be Lucas and Peyton, after Haley totally tricks Lucas into agreeing to babysit in a completely adorable scene. (Love Lucas and Haley interacting!) Lucas and Peyton discover how much work a couple of hyped-up, sugar-addled kids can be, and they start panicking about parenthood. No need -- Jaime and Andre agree that they're the coolest adults around. (Walkie talkies -- that'll do it every time.)
Meanwhile, Brooke and Julian are getting to know each other, and finally, they kiss! Two out of three podcasters find it incredibly hot, but one of us may have been off her game (or possibly off her meds, as a particularly shocking admission suggests.) Sam has a nice plot with Jack, telling him she'll be there for him ... which we're doubting, because they kind of seemed to be wrapping up that plot. We'll see.
Then there's Mouth and Millie. Oy. Mouth continues to pout, and Millie tells Brooke about Owen. Brooke freaks out for about two seconds, and then is there to support her friend. She's also there to talk to Mouth -- but will it be enough to save the relationship?
There's more: Find out what makes us worry about the Brooke/Julian relationship, discover what we think about Chad Michael Murray as a first-time director, and learn which couple had the best chemistry on their date.

cute episode. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. But i DID hate all the slow motion that CMM decided he needed to insert. It didnt flow with the episode in my opinion.
I like that brooke is happy but.. I still think julian gives off an entirely creepy vibe. I dont know where thats going, but i just hope he doesn't do anything stupid regarding peyton that hurts brooke. B. Davis and P. Sawyer have finally been friends for an entire season without any guys getting in the way!Yay!
I was REALLY happy about the Leyton parenting parts. Very cute. But i thought it was kinda cheesy and inconsistent: i mean Luke has always been a really cool, "hip" uncle to jamie, and then he goes and gets them macaroni arts and crafts to play with??hmmm...
I especially liked the part when LP are laying on the bed and she tells him to go get the ice cream for her! lol
Cant wait to see the episode that Galleotti directs. That will be interesting.

I loved this episdoe too. There was nothing I didn't like well except for the Mouth and Millie part.
Brooke and Julian yay it finally happened. I'm so glad but I kinda agree with Mia. I think Peyton is still in the picture for Julian especially when he found out she was pregnant.
Lucas and Peyton were great this episode. Chad squinting is funny. I've definetly noticed it.
Haley was awesome this episode, I loved her and Lucas together, infact they are always great together. But Mia OMG. she looked so hot like hot hot. And that slow motion, with the wind reminded me of "not not another teen movie." But Brase was good back in the day but I kinda like Mia and Chase better. It was great to see Fergie and Junk yay I wanna see more of them this season.
When Jamie was dancing and I saw him do the spanking thing I was like OMG is he even allowed to do that.
I thought Jack and Sam were good this episode, it was a sad scene so I'm guessing he's gone.
who the hell would be on Mouth's side. Mouth is totally in the wrong, this is all his fault. I do like Mouth but this is all his fault. I too loved Millie's like about her virginity, that should have put him in his place. I don't want Millie to leave that is just wrong.
great podcast yet again

ROTFL. Brooke Davis the center of the show?
Riiiiight. Brooke Davis isn't even a Scott. She's less of a center than Peyton and Haley. And the Scotts ARE THE TRUE CENTER. So you can get over yourself.
The fact that Brooke isn't a Scott means that the writers feel the need to overcompensate with her individual storylines to please her fans.
And when I said Brooke was the epicenter of all the drama in Tree Hill I meant in reference to the GUEST STARS who seem to run and ruin this show. The actual characters like Haley, Peyton, Lucas and Nathan? Not so much.
Brooke's character is so overrated.
Go to ANY board and Bethany's boards always has the most post and vistors.
Reference all legitmate polls and Nathan and Haley mostly win BY A LONG SHOT. So Brooke isn't 50% of the show. Step out of delusional.
Not only that but Haley did win the CW Source hottie award on this VERY SAME BLOG...so I rest my case.

One of the biggest problem in Tree Hill is they seems to think about relationship too much, I mean why do you care so much that one dated the other before and why having sex for once in her life become such a crime. I could careless about Brulian but I still feel sooo fru3king happy when that girl use her mouth/tongue for once in five years, it's been too long man, too long. To amsfan, get over it, Brooke is the center of the show. You can go to any OTH site and I dare say 35% to 49% is The Brooke Davis shipper. Some of us(include me) just fast forwarding the other cast scenes only to see her.

Sarah, I agree with you so much (for once, lol). Mouth did look attractive with his brooding self! And Brooke & Julian didn't do it for me either. It felt forced.
And unlike the poster before me, I feel that Lucas and Peyton have become the overwhelming majority of the show, and it's too much.
Interesting line from Brooke - We always say we're OK with our friends being with our exes, but we're never ever REALLY okay with it. Does that smell of her experience with Leyton and Brucas? Does that not scream "that's how I feel from my experience with Brucas and Peyton, so why am I thinking of doing that to Peyton?"

Jack Daniels and Sam were under the bridge, that bridge that everyone is always on or under, one of two bridges in Tree Hill (the other being the one that Uncle Cooper and Rachel drove off of.) The bridge where Peyton and Lucas were on in the CMM written episode, where Mouth got killed. Same bridge where Lucas drives over at the end of Season 1 to move away with Keith.
I didn't care for the episode. Didn't hate it but, but didn't love it. Chase/Mia and Naley were perfection. The best part was that Haley was darn close to being an active participator in this episode.
I also liked the walkie talkie thing, the brother thing. That to me was way cuter and sweeter than anything Jamie and Q's brother did.

hahahaha sad that my favorite part of that interview was mia saying she cant wait to be pregnant so that she can eat everything in sight because oh mia, me and my friends say that all the time!
anyways though, onto the important stuff..
brooke and julian-im glad you guys like them for the most part. i personally think they are HOT together but i do wish that he didnt have a connection to peyton
mouth-i also cant stand him and think millicents line about it not being his virginity to take was amazing.
haley and lucas-i dont care why they were interacting i also loved it. i just like seeing those best friends again
mia and chase-i dont like it but it was cute of him and nathan to be getting the bromance on
nathan and haley-even though they arent my favorite couple i feel like they need more screentime together
lucas and peyton-i feel like these two need less screen time together. this episode wasnt as bad though of them interacting. kinda cute except for the fact that when peyton woke up from her sleep she didnt even seem to wonder where the kids were...good future mom
all in all..it was a pretty good episode! hopefully next will be the same! continue the podcasts..i love hearing your guys opinions!!

Brooke this, Brooke that. Brooke has become the epicenter too all the issues in existence on OTH show and it's not fair.
It's time to share the wealth. Mark needs to remember that he has other core characters to cater to...like I don't know HALEY. Yeah, remember her? Last time I checked she still had fans, more fans that any of those silly guest stars combined and arguably out of all the characters on OTH. It's so dumbfounding that Mark would neglect/alienate such a big portion of his viewers like that.
And I didn't enjoy the LH scene honestly. Too short, too contrived. It was so transparent that the only reason LH interacted was so Haley could clean her hands of Andre/Jamie and go back to her regularly scheduled propping. *roll eyes*
N/H are boring me to tears. Talk about wallpaper status.
And Brooke has terrible aim. I was hoping that dart she threw would've landed on Mouth's face. That dude needs off. NO ONE CARES MOUTH/MARK.
Guest stars are like leeches, they suck the life from the show and waste valuable time. Saying that they're irritating is the understatement of the year (save Julian, because Austin Nichols is a fox.)
