Privileged: All About What's to Come

With one week left to the season finale of Privileged, we can’t help but ask ourselves if Will and Megan can make it. We were big proponents of the Will/Megan thing verses the Charlie/Megan after all, and to see these two fall short of being together for anything less than a full season is – well – heartbreaking.

And, while we where sad to see Michael Cassidy go (we mourn the loss of any hottie), we didn’t miss Charlie as much as we thought, especially not with the show adding Robert Buckley. Cassidy’s Charlie was more of sad, puppy dog character and we dig the harsh reality Buckley’s David has to offer. In fact, he already has made a large impact on Will and Megan’s relationship and we predict more coming during next week’s final.

With her magazine job in the tanker and issues brewing in her romantic life, can Megan survive it all? Our opinion is, yes. Even without her best friend by her side anymore, Megan now has her family to turn to. We got to see things with the Smiths go from bad to okay to really bad then worse and finally ALL BETTER! What a roller coaster! Plus, from the sneak peeks of next week, it looks as though Megan may have a book deal about to launch, despite the rejection she received from Will’s dad’s magazine.

And, whereas the writers may have neglected to really delve into Rose and Sage’s romantic relationships, we were actually perfectly happy remaining in the relationship between the two sisters. What started out as two sisters, practically joined at the hip and using one brain, somehow over the last few weeks totally changed into two separate teenagers – each complete with their own angst.

For those who missed last week, a big argument stemming from Miles' (the girls’ real grandfather) death has Rose actually moving out of the bedroom her and Sage have shared since childhood. We loved to see the development of the sisters and can’t wait to get more, but as far as their characters go, we’ve probably hit the peak for the season. So, with them, we’re already looking forward to the new possibilities a bright new season has to offer.
