Gossip Girl: Eyes Wide Shut

Blair declares war on the mousy Ms. Carr after last week’s little misunderstanding got our devious heroine a week’s worth of detention. With Yale slowly slipping through Blair’s fingers, she enlists her posse of Technicolor winter-dreamcoat-wearing minions to scrounge up some dirt on the Iowa corn-fed new teacher. Thanks to a new initiative banning cell phones during school hours, Blair and co. must retreat to the girls’ bathroom to furiously search on contraband phones smuggled in by the ever-faithful Dorota. It’s funny that this is the first time we’ve seen the girls in the lavatory – usually a bastion of high school gossip.
When Ms. Carr’s past comes up squeaky clean, Blair has no choice but to take matters into her own hands. She tells the world that Dan and Ms. Carr are more than just friends. Of course, the writing was on the wall on this one. How many teachers did you call by their first name in high school? And how many teachers did you meet before class for breakfast?
With friends like these, who needs friends? Blair’s girls tattle on their leader and our favorite plaid-wearing fashionista faces expulsion until Dan stupidly meets Ms. Carr for dinner….at night…at a restaurant. Way to keep things innocent, Lonely Boy! Serena spies the two and snaps a picture of Dan pushing a strand of Ms. Carr’s hair behind her ear – which she directly brings to Blair.
Storming the parent’s meeting, Blair shows the pic, thereby sealing her fate at Yale and giving Ms. Carr the boot. Dan and Serena break up…AGAIN! When will these two stop? We understand. It’s just too hard to attend different colleges. Seriously, how can anyone be expected to stay together while going to class one train-ride away from the other person? Puh-leeze!
Smarting from yet another breakup, Dan runs right to Ms. Carr’s apartment and into her arms. This is gonna get sticky. In the meantime, Chuck tracks down his mystery woman from his “Eyes Wide Shut” escapade only to find out that he inadvertently stepped into his father’s secret world and Nate and Vanessa continue their relationship. At least Nate kept away from the hair gel in this episode.
What did you think? Did you see the Ms. Carr/Dan rendezvous coming a mile away or were you shocked? Will Blair ever regain her father’s trust?

Rachel you are the devil. I hope Blair ruins you. I once said on a post here that I don't like evil Serena, that I thought it was overdone and that sweet Serena is better. But now I want evil Serena to come back when she finds out about Dan and Rachel. She needs to destroy that Biatch, with Blair's help. Oh I can't wait to see it happen and Dan you should fall too for being such a pathetic loser. Gee, why are all the CW relationships so screwed up! Yall got a bunch of bitter messed up writers there! Sheesh!
