Melrose Place: Money, Success, Revenge -- Nothing Comes Easy in HelLA

For some reason when Auggie leaves Melrose Place to surf in Cabo for a few days, he asks Violet to watch his place. She rolls all over his bed, sniffs his clothes and does her creepy thing around his apartment. Then she goes through his stuff and finds a note from Sydney. In the note Syd tells Auggie how miserable her ex-husband is making her life. This, of course, gets the girl without a hobby a very big idea.

The happy couple is broke
Ella gets Jonah another gig, this time with Anton, a creative genius designer. But somehow, despite all of the work Ella is throwing his way, Jonah is broke. In a stroke of luck, Anton spots Riley and decides that he wants her as the face of his new campaign. Ella hates the idea, but a client has the last word. Riley hates the idea too as the only people she's comfortable standing up in front of are six-year-olds. Not only is it every girls' dream but it means 10 grand for five days of work. When Riley puts her foot down and says no means no, Ella tells her that she's just being selfish.

When Jonah's rent check bounces he tries to sell his ex3 camera (that the dummy still needs for work!) and then has to admit that he has no money. Next thing you know, Riley shows up at the WPK offices and takes Anton’s gig -- thereby saving Ella's ass. And let's face it -- Riley’s looked very good in Anton's jeans...and no one looks good in white jeans!

Lauren doesn't have versatility issues
The good doctor gets assigned to a hooker party on a yacht and she's uncomfortable about the whole thing. Luckily she has another "pro" there to walk her through the evening. Things seem to be going well until the men show up and David is one of them. There's no way Lauren can stay. Hooker overboard!

Meanwhile, David is getting in way over his head with the whole Robin Hood thing. The hooker-hiring yacht dude moves stolen art and wants his new BFF to steal an Egyptian antiquity that just came into the city. It's valued at a cool 2 mil and resides in Bel-Air. When David passes on the job the boys do a number on his skull. Too bad there wasn't a doctor on board.

Violet likes to touch/take other people's stuff
After Violet reads Syd’s note to Auggie the girl sets her sights on Dr. Mancini. Fifteen Red Bulls later and it's fake heart attack time. She heads to the hospital but not to the emergency room -- straight to Mancini's office. The scenario is about as unprofessional as it can get and ends with Violet inviting Michael to Coal (luckily she just got that bartending gig because there's no way Michael would fall for a hostess) where she'll buy him a drink to repay him for his medical favor. Naturally, he goes. He drinks. He hangs into the late hour and he ends up making out with Violet in his car.

Somehow, Violet films the whole thing. She even manages to work the lighting just right. She shows up at the Mancini household the next day pretending to apply for the new nanny gig and tells Michael that she's Syd’s kid. She thinks that Syd was trying to get better but Michael wouldn't let her...and now he's gonna to pay.

The residents of Melrose Place seem to find trouble around every corner. David is getting beat up by art dealers, Lauren owes her Madame big time and Ella could be arrested for murdering Sydney. Who is backed into the most heinous corner at the moment? Tell us here!

MP news
While out and about at the Hollywood Style Awards last weekend Katie Cassidy spilled about how the onscreen hijinks are playing out between her calculating character, Ella, and Heather Locklear’s returning bad-girl character, Amanda. Katie told cameras that Amanda may not be as strong as she used to be back in the '90s. But old school MP fans will have to see that to believe it. We'll all find out when Amanda returns on November 17th.
